Technical contributors create tools that aid the creation or distribution of TLDP documentation.

Responsibilities

Commitment

The amount of time to implement a particular project varies depending upon the scope. Technical contributors should also be prepared to maintain their project and respond to user feedback concerning corrections and improvements.

Qualifications

Technical contributors should be familiar with the operation of TLDP. Prior experience as a document author, reviewer or maintainer is helpful.

Supervision

Technical contributors are largely self-directed. However, ideas for projects should be discussed on TLDP's general discussion mailing list prior to implementation.

Training

There is no formal training for this position.
